Ms. Auerbach has practiced bankruptcy, insolvency, debtor/creditor rights and commercial litigation for more than 25 years.
In the course of representing creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 cases, she has defended preference actions, denials of discharge actions, determinations of dischargeable debt, claims pertaining to the automatic stay, claims objections, enforcement of security interests, actions to vacate the automatic stay, and enforcement of security interests.
She has represented debtor companies in Chapter 7 and 11 cases, including preparing, confirming and administering numerous Chapter 11 reorganization plans, assisting debtors with monthly operating reports, and negotiating and litigating with the U.S. Trustee’s Office. She has handled all aspects of bankruptcy cases from inception through trial and appeal to the U.S. District Court and Court of Appeals.
Ms. Auerbach holds a BA from California State University at San Francisco and a JD from the University of San Francisco.
